Andrew Kuzera grew up in Metro Detroit and studied Food Science at Michigan State University. He began his career in agricultural genetics before moving into the food industry, traveling between manufacturing plants and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how beverages are made.
While spending long stretches on the road, he got deeply into fitness but found that most “healthy” drinks didn’t meet his standards. They either lacked real nutrition or tasted like a compromise.
That tension sparked an idea: create a soda that could rival the giants in taste while delivering real nutrition with better ingredients and 12g of protein.
That idea became Ono — a protein soda that doesn’t feel like a compromise.
Because you can work hard, stay healthy, and still crack open a soda and live a little.
